Substance Abuse and Mental Health Training

Overview:
Developed and delivered comprehensive training programs for the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Office at the Florida Department of Children and Families. Designed both instructor-led and computer-based learning materials to support new staff and policy changes.

LMS Creation – PLACE Academy

Overview:
Designed and implemented blended learning programs for a real estate tech company to streamline customer onboarding and boost product adoption. Developed interactive microlearning modules and facilitated virtual workshops that addressed key customer scenarios.

Statewide DCF Summit Project Management

Overview:
Served as Project Manager for the behavioral health track of the 2025 Department of Children and Families annual summit. Responsible for researching and compiling a curated list of speakers focused on substance abuse and mental health, presenting options to DCF leadership, and coordinating final selections to ensure a high-quality lineup.

Results:
Successfully organized a targeted speaker roster, creating a more engaging behavioral health track. Feedback showed higher attendance for behavioral health sessions compared to the previous year.

2024 Baker Act Reference Guide Manual

Overview:
Assisted in the update and rollout of the 2024 Baker Act Reference Guide Manual by guiding the SME on how to properly structure and write the manual. Created cover and all section designs throughout. Designed the manual to be a practical resource for team leads and staff navigating behavioral health interventions.

Results:
Enhanced usability and clarity of the manual, supporting staff in applying Baker Act procedures consistently. Feedback highlighted improved confidence and efficiency in handling behavioral health cases.
